This project falls into my “For Fun” category. When I learned that WordPress did not have the ability to post via email with attachments, I decided that was a mountain I was willing to climb (in my spare time no less).
This was one of my first forays into PHP coding, and is still evolving to this day. The PostMaster plugin allows WordPress users to send in posts from their phone with image or video attachments, and have them automatically parsed and added to their site.
I am happy to announce that version 2.1.0 is now available! This new version features a much better multipart message processor along with support for multiple image attachments.
Features Include:
* Control how media is embedded in the post body by editing PostMaster templates. There is a template for each media type group (images, videos, etc).
* Have PostMaster constrain and resize images to dimensions of your choosing.
* Control where PostMaster saves extracted attachments.
