RealTone JukeBox
Project Description
Skills used:
C, C++, BREW, Socket and Network Programming, Mobile Application Development, Audio Programming
RealTone JukeBox was written while I was Senior developer (and eventually System Architect) at 9 Squared (now Zed America). I was the only coder on the project and aided only by Derek Balmer in designing the user interface and artistic assets.
RealTone JukeBox is a ringtone storefront that won the 2006 Best Ringtone Application Qualcomm Developer Award for its ease of use, large feature set, and performance. At its peak it was generating over $5 million per month, and it still continues to be a large revenue generator for 9 Squared.
